Flux's Emblem?

The emblem or symbol of identity which Flux uses to identify themselves is their name, the emblem is their name, their being, their purpose and their identity.

• The circle around the outside denotes that everything will always become something else, the cycle never ends, there is always a transformation and evolution. A therian will possess a great form, both physically and mentally and those forms will become other forms, and so on.

• The foot prints on the outside, starting humanoid and transforming into animal prints of different species, denotes Flux's polytherian tendancies, transforming into many different forms, species and characters, which are also in a circle, indicating that there is always a transformation and evolution of form as described in the previous paragraph.

• The central emblem is the greek letter Phi. The Greek letter phi (Φ, φ, or ϕ) is the 21st letter of the Greek alphabet. It is pronounced like "f" in English, but is transliterated as "ph" in words from Ancient Greek. In words from Modern Greek, like "feta cheese", it is transliterated as "f". The Greek letter phi (Φ) is the symbol for flux in physics. Flux is a physical quantity that can represent different types of flux, including magnetic flux, electric flux, and mass flux. Therefore it best represents Flux, being a temporary state of Flux and is where they derived their 'handle', Flux.

• Then there are the 4 letters that make up their identity, FLUX, as outlined above, the name itself conjours images and thoughts of unstable state of form, always moving, always changing, always unsteady and unstable. This represents the entity called Flux as they act in a similar manner, never staying in one form for too long, before inhabiting another form, both physical and mental. A State of Flux best represents the entity that this emblem and 'handle' describe.

• Finally, the colour changing represents the colours of the progressive pride flag, which Flux derives many of their passions from. Many of their forms and characters identify with various elements of the LGBTQIA+ community. The remaining colours are those of the Non-Binary pride flag, which is poignant as Flux is non-binary in gender AND physical form.
